    PROGRAM OVERVIEW

    Fifty million Americans are currently living with symptomatic knee osteoarthritis and 40 percent of them have limitations with work and normal activity. Total knee replacement is an excellent surgery with very good outcomes in the right patient. However, total knee replacements have a high dissatisfaction rate (30 percent ) in patients under the age of 50. This creates a vacuum for patients with symptomatic knee pain on treatment options. Many patients are looking for evidence-based options that can prolong their quality of life after initially having knee pain.

    This course will examine surgical orthobiologics and ultrasound regenerative interventions for improving knee pain in patients with knee injuries.
    This multidisciplinary conference will teach physicians about innovative procedures and the evidence that exists in the literature today.
