Exed Institute

WHO WE ARE

Expert Education Institute (ExEd) develops and delivers cutting-edge, high-quality, research-based educational programs for physicians and physician extenders in the field of pain science. We are committed to providing superior learning experiences by featuring outstanding faculty and the latest research—ensuring that new knowledge can be immediately applied in clinical practice.

Additionally, we are dedicated to faculty development, empowering educators with the tools, training, and support they need to enhance their teaching effectiveness and contribute meaningfully to medical education.

Expert Education Institute was founded with a simple yet powerful idea: medical education can be better.

For years, we worked behind the scenes, delivering top-tier educational programs for medical societies. But we saw an opportunity to do more. We recognized that too often, specialties operate in silos—missing the chance to collaborate, share knowledge, and enhance patient outcomes through a truly multidisciplinary approach.

Then came the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many in medical education, we faced an unprecedented challenge. While others pivoted to virtual learning, we stood firm in our belief that hands-on, in-person education is irreplaceable—especially in fields that demand procedural expertise and real-time collaboration. As a result, we were essentially shut down. It was a difficult time, but it reinforced our commitment to delivering education the right way—through immersive, in-person experiences that allow specialists to learn, practice, and engage face-to-face.

That’s why we created ExEd: to bring specialists together, foster collaboration, and ensure that healthcare professionals speak the same language—all with the shared goal of delivering exceptional patient care.

At ExEd, we believe that when experts communicate effectively across disciplines, patients benefit the most. Our programs are designed to break down barriers between specialties, encourage meaningful dialogue, and equip clinicians with the skills and knowledge needed to work seamlessly as a team.

The challenges of the past have only strengthened our dedication to in-person education—because we know that true learning happens not just by watching, but by doing.

Join us as we redefine medical education—one conversation, one hands-on experience, and one patient outcome at a time.
