Beyond the Nerve: Ultrasound, EMG and Interventional Strategies for the Upper Limb
May 1, 2026 - May 3, 2026
$200.00
Program Overview
A premier hands-on course dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of upper limb neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders.
Beyond the Nerve blends cutting-edge ultrasound, advanced electrodiagnostics, and image-guided interventional strategies from shoulder to fingertips—delivered by expert faculty in an immersive, small-group format.
This intensive course focuses exclusively on the upper limb, including nerve entrapments, plexopathies, myopathies, and chemodenervation techniques for spasticity and dystonia. Expect live scanning, cadaveric injections, waveform analysis, and complex case reviews—all tailored to real-world upper extremity challenges.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
✅ Identify nerve and muscle pathology of the shoulder, arm, elbow, wrist, and hand using high-resolution ultrasound
✅ Perform targeted EMG and nerve conduction studies for upper limb disorders
✅ Apply ultrasound-guided chemodenervation techniques for upper limb spasticity and dystonia
✅ Use cadaveric hands-on training to master interventional procedures of the upper extremity
✅ Avoid pitfalls in diagnosing brachial plexopathies, radial neuropathies, and median/ulnar entrapments

Overall, the Peripheral Nerve Ultrasound program aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence to integrate ultrasound imaging effectively into the diagnostic and therapeutic approach for upper limb peripheral nerve disorders. Peripheral nerve ultrasound plays a crucial role in the diagnostic assessment of upper limb neuropathies, offering non-invasive and real-time imaging capabilities. This program provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively utilize ultrasound in diagnosing and managing upper limb neuropathies, ultimately improving patient outcomes and quality of care.
