Beyond research, Justin is an active leader, serving on the executive boards of the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) and the RowanSOM Music Medicine Collective, where he fosters cultural awareness, organizes educational events, and supports student wellness.

Discovering a Passion for Ultrasound

Justin’s introduction to ultrasound was a turning point. Learning basic ultrasound techniques in medical school sparked his interest in PM&R, as he saw firsthand how this tool enhances diagnostics and patient care. His experience at the ExEd UltrasoundFEST in Philadelphia solidified this passion, allowing him to engage with expert physicians, gain mentorship from PM&R residents, and apply his knowledge in a hands-on setting.

“The workshop bridged the gap between classroom learning and clinical application. Hearing PM&R residents share their journeys reinforced my passion for the field and the impact of ultrasound in patient care.”

Giving Back & Inspiring Others

With a deep-rooted belief in education accessibility, Justin is committed to creating opportunities for fellow students. He hopes to expand Expert Education Institute’s social media presence to connect more students with hands-on learning and professional development.

His drive stems from his own experiences growing up in the Bronx, where he witnessed firsthand the transformative power of mentorship and dedicated educators. This perspective fuels his passion for medical education, mentorship, and breaking barriers for future physicians.

🎶 Fun Fact: Justin is a dedicated musician and helps manage his school’s music inventory to provide creative outlets for students!
